In this post I have included artists which I think you should be looking out for over the next few months. Some of which already have a well-known reputation and are bringing out new material. Others are artists I think you are unlikely to have heard of before. So please check out this new music and let me know what you think =). Enjoy...
p.s. Sorry about the overlap of the videos over the sidebar, I tried to find a way around it but failed. I really wanted you to see the videos directly on my page so I hope it won't irritate you too much! =)

1. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
Different? They certainly are, with a minimum of 10 members (and sometimes up to 16 in some songs) they create a hippy-esque feel to their music. They aren't very well known, but I think that they deserve better recognition for their work.
Check out their single 'Home' which I think is a wonderfully constructed piece of music.
2. 'Flaws' An acoustic album by Bombay Bicycle Club
As you already know, I'm slightly partial to a bit of the BBC. Now I'm even more addicted with the news of a solely acoustic album being launched this summer =) Good vibes all around I feel.
Here's a sneaky peek of what to expect:
3. Jack Johnson
I'm sure you know this surfer dude by now. His songs have managed to chill us all out with his laidback tunes such as 'Sitting Waiting Wishing' from the 'In Between Dreams' album (2005) and 'Upside Down' from the soundtrack to 'Curious George'.
Well guys...he's done it again. He's brought out a brand new album 'To the Sea', containing songs that will be essential for a chillaxed summer of 2010.
Sit back and relax:
4. Eliza Doolittle
She is what I'd call a mix between Kate Nash and Lily Allen, with Lily's attitude and Kate's innocence, she brings passion and carefree fun into her music. A London based girl, Eliza is the granddaughter of the famous Sylvia Young (no wonder she is so talented!). With previous singles such as 'Rollerblades' (which was released in 2009), she has now created an album set to hit stores on the 28th June 2010.
Give Eliza a listen, I'm sure she is going to be big on the festival scene this summer:
